OUTFIT // Le Soleil Toute L'Année.

It's time to show you what last week's preview post was all about! I received a wonderful dress by the new brand Doubler le Sol! You should check out their website - it's a really inspiring concept. The website opens with a small movie, stylish! The webshop itself is a mashup of DLS products and vintage accessorizing. Really nice.
At the moment I opened the package I fell in love with the texture, print and fit of this piece of clothing. I immediately started roaming through my closet to find some inspiring combinations with the dress. It's so versatile - although you wouldn't exactly think of it as a party dress, it's so much more than a day dress.

1. Insane party

The cage top makes this dress totally party-proof!

2. Smart look

Skinny belt | vintage
Clutch | vintage

For whenever you don't feel like wearing it as a dress, it's perfect as a top as well. Instant smart look together with the blazer and moccasins!

3. Relaxation..

Knitted cardigan | Massimo Dutti
Knee socks | H&M

And for the rainy Sundays (or in this case, a rainy Wednesday), the dress is perfect to relax in, watch a stunning movie and have hot chocolate with marshmallows.

In the end, it's not about having a closet containing hundreds of pieces of clothing. It's about the styling, and the creativity you put into your style. Make unexpected combinations and you'll find new stylish possibilities..

OUTFIT // You be my star, I'll be your sky.

Some things strangely seem to repeat themselves..

Exactly one year ago, I walked the small streets of a tiny Dutch village called De Rijp. The sundown was gorgeous.. The rays of the sun made the narrow cobblestone-covered alleys glisten in their warmth. While the sun slowly descended the sky behind the old traditional houses, I went into a cute restaurant together with the people I love. We had a wonderful night. After dinner, while leaving the cooled down streets of the little town, I couldn't have known I'd be walking there a year later.. Walking down the same cobblestone road, bathing in the beams of the sunset..

I just discovered I even brought the same bag with me, a bag I never use. It seems to be destined to accompany me to De Rijp though!

OUTFIT // Colours, people, statues, fashion.

I only managed to make some outfit shots, but here I am guys, standing in ANTWERPEN. I regret not having taken pictures of the beautiful streets, wonderful architecture, the gorgeous people and the talented street artists. Talking about street artists, the living statue in picture 4 took a break of his frozen pose and made some time for his friend on the right to have a chat. Had to take a picture before my camera battery ran out.

The shops in Antwerpen are brilliant, the high street stores are all there at the boulevard-ish Meir. Lovely street. After shopping at Urban Outfitters (wish they had one in the Netherlands) we found our way to stylish COS.
My shopping climax however? We accidentally bumped into a vintage store called Think Twice, and they held their regularly held €2,- sale! I've scored 10 vintage pieces for €20, including a 60s maxi dress and two leather jackets.
...I don't think I'll ever step into an Amsterdam vintage store again. See you soon, Antwerpen.

LIFE // L'Escala

So here's the first part about my holiday in Spain.
I figured that the numerous fairytale-like places I have visited (and the thousands of pictures) deserved multiple posts.

I celebrated my holiday with my family and boyfriend in the lovely region of L'Escala. This place consists of the typical mix of traditional Catalan culture and crowded tourism. I prefer the first part.

Therefore I really appreciated the little town of Sant Martí D'Empúries. Despite the many tourists swirling around the restaurants, ordering French fries and egg sunny side up, we managed to enjoy the view, the Gothic church and the lovely food.

To be continued..

OUTFIT // The anecdote.

Shorts | ZARA
Tank | American Apparel
Straw boater hat | River Island
Bag | vintage
Sunnies | random
Rosary necklace | vintage from a heritage
Cross ring | made by me
Vintage scarf wrapped around hat

Just a quick Sunday night post. Wore the shorts that I picked up at the ZARA sale, and one of my buys from River Island - the boater hat.

I feel like buying a red Vespa to go with the shorts, and go to Italy by scooter to have a classic Roman holiday..
Sadly enough, this year's holiday destination is Spain.
No just kidding, I am really looking forward to my vacation! I just realized it's less than a week away..

So what's your vacation going to look like? I want to hear your stories.

♥.

OUTFIT // NDSM.

Went to Amsterdam last weekend to go to a flea market at NDSM-werf, a former boat building site.
I scored two vintage dresses (can't wait to show you!) and a crazy blazer that should have belonged to someone who's into yodelling (it's very classical Austrian haha).

Remember me getting third at this contest? Finally got the River Island gift card and it has been well spent! Among all the stuff I got was this dress. Love it to bits.

The industrial look of NDSM is very inspirational.

Floral dress | River Island
Bag | ZARA
Wedges | ZARA
Heart-print socks | Topshop
Necklace | H&M
Cross ring | made by me
Sunnies | vintage

Got a lot of questions about the cross ring featured in my last post. I have a part-time job at a jewellery store, which might explain why I am capable of making my own jewellery.

Oh, and I bumped into Sabrina from AfterDRK at the ZARA. Nice to see you again, girl!
