Mmmm... I love gold.

No time to post, I'm too busy with my studies. Next week is going to be hectic as well, but I'm going to try to post anything more substantial.

Radiohead is one of my favorite bands and one of my biggest inspirations.

Just a quick outfit post. Pictures were shot by zhe boyfriend on a random parking lot in Delft. We were on our way home and I was like "We need to pull over NOW!! I forgot to take pictures" and Yapkan (zhe boyfriend) drifted the Volvo right into a car park to take some shots. He's such a sweetheart (but he'd only wish he could drift with the Volvo like that, hehehe).

How much do I love you? I'll tell you no lie.
How deep is the ocean? How high is the sky?
How many times a day do I think of you?
How many roses are sprinkled with dew?

How far would I travel to be where you are?
How far is the journey from here to a star?
And if I ever lost you, how much would I cry?
How deep is the ocean? How high is the sky?

This song originally dates from 1932. Still love it to death.

As for the clutch, it also dates from the previous century. It's a real snakeskin bag that used to belong to the woman that lived underneath my grandmother's appartment. She no longer wore it, and passed it on to my granny. When she passed away, the bag ended up in my mother's closet. And now, anno 2010, the bag has reached his fourth owner.

I think I was born half of a century too late.

I love being in Rotterdam for the weekend. Although the country I live in is quite small, there is such a characteristic diversity between the cities. So refreshing.

I went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch that day.I just love all of the quirky details of classic Asian restaurants.. Every self-respecting Chinese restaurant should have paper tablecloths, chopsticks wrapped up in paper and dozens of dragon & lucky cat statues!

By the way, I started using my LB-account again. So hype if you like. ♥

My life's still too busy for me to do any consistent posting.. The past week has been quite emotionally heavy - I will not be going into details, since this blog isn't about, well.. Let's just say it, human body dissections. But that's what I have experienced. Can you imagine? Neither do I.

Most fashion bloggers have a glamorous life, floating from one fashionable party to another. Although I love parties (especially whenever you get to wear the prettiest dress and the highest heels you own), there's so much more out there. I hope that within this decade, once I have finished my studies, I will be saving lives with my expertise.

A pair of the Yves Saint Laurent tassle boots I have set my eyes on could make me the happiest girl on earth. But what does it feel like to mean something essentially to another person.. By saving that person's life?

It might even feel better.
